Job summary

AmeriPro EMS is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide essential Basic Life Support (BLS) care and safe medical transport in both emergency environments. This role focuses on patient assessment, direct BLS treatment, operational readiness, and strong teamwork with Paramedics and public safety partners.

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience.
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training.
• Technology proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions (CPR, oxygen, bleeding control, splinting, vitals).
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated tasks during ALS calls.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to the Paramedic or receiving facility.
• Document BLS care and patient interactions accurately and timely.
• Operate the ambulance safely according to AmeriPro driving standards.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections and restocking.
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities to maintain EMT proficiency.
