Job summary

AmeriPro Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to deliver essential Basic Life Support and safe transport in emergency settings. The EMT will assess patients, provide BLS care, and support Paramedics while ensuring equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience.
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training.
• Technology proficiency in basic systems and devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions during transport.
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated tasks during ALS calls.
• Monitor patient condition and relay updates to the Paramedic or receiving facility.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation of BLS care and interactions.
• Operate the ambulance safely following driving standards.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections and restocking.
• Perform stretcher operations and safe patient handling.
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities to maintain EMT proficiency.
