Dr. Mylissa's Medical Boutique in Reno, NV is seeking an Communications Specialist (EMT Dispatcher). You answer emergency medical and fire calls, dispatch ambulances and fire resources, and guide callers through patient care steps until help arrives.

The role requires EMT course completion within 6 months of hire, EMT exam if needed, and preferred prior medical or fire experience. We offer academy training, benefits, relocation assistance, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• EMT course completion within 6 months of hire is required/expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to pass CritiCall Exam and EMT Entrance Exam if required.
• Typing speed minimum 35 wpm and multitasking abilities.
• Prior medical or fire experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer emergency medical and fire calls and dispatch ambulances/resources.
• Provide callers with patient-care instructions until responders arrive.
• Identify safety concerns and coordinate appropriate precautions/equipment.
