Job summary

AmeriPro Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to deliver Basic Life Support and safe medical transport in various settings. You will assess patients, provide essential BLS care, and support Paramedics to ensure rapid, quality care while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience.
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training.
• Technology proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions during transport.
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated tasks on ALS calls.
• Monitor patient condition and relay updates to the receiving facility.
• Document BLS care and patient interactions accurately and timely.
• Operate the ambulance safely according to driving standards.
• Maintain ambulance readiness through inspections and restocking.
• Perform stretcher operations and secure equipment for safe transport.
• Participate in required training and quality improvement activities.
