AmeriPro Health seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide essential Basic Life Support care and safe medical transport in emergency environments. You will focus on patient assessment, direct BLS treatment, operational readiness, and strong teamwork in support of Paramedics and other public safety partners.

Qualifications

• EMT must be certified and in good standing.
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training preferred or required by state.
• Proficient with basic EMS equipment and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions (CPR, oxygen, bleeding control, splinting, vitals).
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated tasks during ALS calls.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to the Paramedic or receiving facility.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation of BLS care and patient interactions.
• Operate ambulance safely per driving standards and regulations.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections and restocking.
• Perform stretcher operations and safe patient handling.
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities.
