Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Pearland, TX seeks a Medical Support Specialist with EMT certification to determine donor eligibility, monitor donor safety, review test results, and support the plasma donation process.

You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, handling medical issues, adverse events, and safety procedures while contributing to a compliant, patient-centered environment with predictable scheduling and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P certification as applicable in the state
• CPR and AED certification required
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, consent, and medical history reviews
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for significant findings
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health processes
• Assist with OSHA and environmental health and safety guidance
