Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to support plasma donor visits and ensure donor safety at our Arlington center. You will assess donors, manage adverse events, review test results, and coordinate with the Center Physician.

You will work under the Center Manager and Medical Affairs guidance, following SOPs and regulatory requirements while contributing to a safe, efficient plasma collection process.

Qualifications

• Current EMT licensure in state of responsibilities (B/A/I/P)
• RN/LPN licensure accepted where applicable
• CPR and AED certification
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history
• Monitor donors for adverse events and manage medical issues
• Review laboratory results and communicate with Center Physician/Medical Affairs
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health activities
• Ensure compliance with plasma collection regulations and SOPs
