Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations and donor safety. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and assist with adverse events under Center Manager supervision.

You will contribute to regulatory compliance, vaccination programs, and collaboration with Medical Affairs to ensure high-quality donor care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• EMT license(s) or nursing license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Clinical assessment and donor safety experience.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and assist EHS guidance.
