BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks Medical Support Specialist to assess donor eligibility, manage adverse events, and review test results. You will work under Center Manager guidance for operations and Center Physician for medical issues, ensuring compliance with plasma collection regulations.

Ideal candidates bring EMT certifications or nursing licensure and 2+ years in clinical settings, with CPR/AED and FDA training, plus a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program equivalency acceptable.
• Currently licensed or certified in EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, or RN as applicable.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy where applicable.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• At least two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including consent, history, and examinations.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unresolved issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for staff.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized and assist investigations.
