Qualifications

• EMT licenses required in the state of responsibilities.
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training must be completed.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Familiarity with plasma collection regulations and EHS guidance.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and testing.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER.
• Potential Pandemic Coordinator duties as authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
