Qualifications

• EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P license in the state of duty.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• FDA approved BioLife training requirements completed.
• High school diploma or nursing program completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage incidents with Occupational Health/EHS guidance.
