Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an EMT-licensed Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations and ensure donor safety. You will determine donor eligibility, review medical history, consent, and lab results, and respond to adverse events under Center Manager guidance.

You will assist in vaccination programs, incident evaluations, and collaboration with Medical Affairs and EHS to maintain compliance and donor care across a Takeda-affiliated environment.

Qualifications

• EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P license required in the state of assignment.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Two years of clinical or hospital setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and informed consent per SOPs (SPE review, medical history, etc).
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs and Center Physician guidance.
• Support vaccination programs and incidents investigations in coordination with EHS/Medical Affairs.
