Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks an Medical Support Specialist (EMT/RN/LPN) in Oklahoma to determine donor eligibility, monitor donor safety, and support blood plasma collection operations.

You will review test results, manage donor adverse events, and collaborate with the Center Physician and Medical Affairs for medical issues, while supporting vaccination programs and EHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P or RN/LPN with state licensure
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, and testing review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu) for employees.
• Manage occupational incidents with EHS guidance and escalate as needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
