Qualifications

• Licensed EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, or EMT-P in the applicable state
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, and physical examination
• Evaluate and manage donor adverse events and donor reactions per SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable results to donors
• Provide center-level support for environmental, health and safety guidance
• Support vaccination programs and assist with occupational health considerations
