BioLife Plasma Services, LP is seeking a Medical Support Specialist in Joliet, IL to support plasma center operations. You'll determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, and review test results under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

The role requires EMT licensure in various levels, CPR/AED certification, and licensure as RN/LPN or equivalent, plus experience with IV therapy and clinical settings.

Formación

• EMT certification at state level (EMT-B/A/I/P) with current licensure
• CPR and AED certification
• Valid nursing license (RN/LPN) or equivalent
• Experience with basic IV therapy procedures and patient assessment

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, and confidential self-exclusion per SOPs.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage adverse events per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support Center Physician for medical issues and follow guidance from Medical Affairs/EHS.

Conocimientos

EMT Certifications (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/
