BioLife Plasma Services in Joliet, IL is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) with an EMT-Paramedic license for part-time night and weekend coverage. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, review lab results, and coordinate with the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure donor safety and regulatory compliance.

• EMT-Paramedic license required and CPR/AED certifications mandatory.
• Must meet state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical review.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test outcomes per SOPs.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health activities.
• Assist Center Physician with medical guidance and emergencies.
