Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health is seeking an EMT-Basic to deliver essential pre-hospital care in the McAllen area. You will respond to 911 calls, assess patients, perform BLS, transport and support transfer processes under Medical Director guidance.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicles, completing reports, and coordinating with police, fire and EMS partners in dynamic, high-stress environments while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and EMT certification in Texas.
• CPR certification and advanced trauma life support credentials preferred.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with insurable record.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English; prior EMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 911 and non-emergency calls and provide basic life support.
• Drive emergency vehicles and ensure vehicle/equipment readiness.
• Document patient care reports and related billing information timely.
• Collaborate with Police, Fire and First Responder contacts while delivering care.
