Job summary

Qualifications

• Texas EMT certification is required.
• CPR certification required.
• 911 Areas – PHTLS or ITLS certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Responds to 911 calls and non-emergency calls; drives emergency vehicles in all road conditions.
• Assess patient conditions and provide basic life support and transport assistance.
• Complete patient care reports and billing documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire and First Responder agencies as needed.
• Adhere to department policies and state driving laws.
