Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health in Sinton, TX is seeking an EMT-Basic to provide essential pre-hospital care on 911 responses. You will assess patients, perform basic life support, assist in patient transport, and document care under Medical Director protocols.

You must hold Texas EMT certification, CPR, and a valid driver's license. The role requires strong communication, composure under pressure, and the ability to work with diverse agencies in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas EMT certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
• Effective communication and ability to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Responds to 911 and non-emergency calls 24/7 and operates emergency vehicles in varied road and weather conditions.
• Reads maps and follows directions to respond efficiently and safely.
• Complies with all driving laws, policies and procedures; communicates with dispatchers and EMS teams per protocol.
• Maintains and checks vehicles and equipment, ensuring readiness and cleanliness.
• Completes patient care reports and billing information accurately and timely.
• Provides direct patient care under Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
• Demonstrates competency in patient care and physical abilities to lift and transport patients.
• Interacts with Police, Fire, and First Responder agencies with professional conduct.
• Performs other duties, and adheres to company policies and procedures.
