Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health in McAllen, TX is hiring an EMT-Advanced to provide advanced pre-hospital care on 911 calls and patient transport. The role requires calm under pressure, strong communication, and reliable teamwork.

Responsibilities include administering medications, starting IVs, documenting patient care, and coordinating with police, fire, and EMS partners. Texas EMT certification and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified as EMT in Texas.
• CPR certification.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification.
• Read/write/interpret instructions in English.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Previous emergency care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day and drives a variety of emergency vehicles in all road conditions.
• Administers medications such as Albuterol/Ipratropium Bromide Nebulizer Treatment.
• Starts IVs and infuses fluids, draws blood and administers subcutaneous, aerosolized, sublingual, and intranasal medications.
• Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
• Completes patient care reports and billing information in a timely manner.
