Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health and Lone Star Ambulance Service in Northwest San Antonio, TX seek a compassionate EMT-Basic to provide essential pre-hospital care, respond to 911 calls, assess patients and assist in transport.

You will communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and uphold patient care standards while working with police, fire, and EMS partners. Texas EMT-B certification and CPR required; High school diploma or GED; valid Texas driver license.

Qualifications

PHTLS or ITLS.

Read, write, and interpret instructions in English.

Responsibilities

Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24/7 and drives emergency vehicles in all road conditions.
Reads map books and follows directions to respond efficiently and safely.
Follows driving laws, policies and procedures.
Uses communication equipment to coordinate with dispatchers and EMS crews.
Maintains vehicles and equipment in ready state and cleanliness.
Completes patient care reports and billing documentation promptly.
Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
Interacts with police, fire, and first responder agencies.
