Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified as an EMT in the State of Texas.
• CPR certification is required.
• PHTLS or ITLS is required for the role.
• Communicate effectively with team and dispatch.
• Read, write, and interpret instructions in English.
• Previous experience preferred in emergency care.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Responds to 911 calls and non-emergency calls around the clock.
• Operates emergency vehicles in varied road conditions.
• Reads maps and follows directions to respond safely.
• Communicates with dispatchers, EMS crews, and first responders as required.
• Maintains vehicles and equipment in ready condition.
• Completes patient care reports and billing information promptly.
• Performs direct patient care per Medical Director's protocols.
