Job summary

Sandhills Community College is seeking a seasoned WCE Program Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for all Workforce Continuing Education programs, with a focus on EMS training across Moore and Hoke Counties. The role partners with the Public Safety Department Head, EMS personnel, and community agencies to grow offerings, ensure compliance, and enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or the minimum credential required by applicable regulatory or certification bodies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders.
Experience coordinating EMS education, training, operations, or instructional programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction for assigned WCE programs, including planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Align offerings with workforce needs, labor market information, and stakeholder feedback.
Monitor program outcomes and implement improvement strategies to support enrollment, completion, credential attainment, and student success.
Develop and manage operational procedures, workflows, and internal processes for effective program delivery.
Coordinate EMS instructional delivery across classroom, laboratory, simulation, field, and partner-site settings; support EMS components of related academies as assigned.
