Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current National Registry Paramedic Registration.
• WV OEMS Paramedic License within 3 months of hire.
• WV OEMS C3IFT Paramedic Endorsement within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Certified WV EMS Instructor within six months of hire.
• AHA/NAEMT/EMS Educators Instructor Certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of EMS educational program offerings.
• Evaluates learner performance, provides feedback, and develops remediation plans.
• Handles administrative requirements including grades, records, and data submissions.
• Participates in continuing professional development programs.
• Trains others about safety significance and EMS concepts.
• Assists in managing online Learning Management System (LMS).
• Supports EMS simulation education and instructor cadre management.
• Oversees National Registry and WV OEMS Provider Portal access and compliance.
• Maintains the education calendar and course updates.
• Assists new hires with credentialing and recertifications.
• Manages licensure and certification to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversees Field Training Evaluation Program (FTEP) credentialing processes.
• Provides on-call clinical support or shift supervision as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
