Responsibilities

  • Deliver EMS courses including Medical Responder, EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate and EMT-Paramedic.
  • Assist with recruiting, advising and retaining students.
  • Assist in evaluating courses and programs.
  • Maintain contacts with public safety organizations to keep instruction current.
  • Supervise instructional equipment and develop lab assignments for hands-on learning.
  • Prepare lesson plans and activities; schedule classroom sessions.
  • Communicate with faculty on program implementation and evaluation.
  • Develop tests, grade, and record student scores; ensure records meet accreditation needs.
