Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, active MA and/or NREMT Paramedic certification
• Experience commensurate with the job qualifications
• Associate degree and commitment to complete a bachelor's degree within two years
• Current AHA, BLS and ACLS certification
• Instructor credentials or ability to obtain MA Paramedic certification within 30 days (if only NREMT Paramedic)
• Within one year, obtain instructor credentials relevant to position (e.g., ACSL/BLS/PALS Instructor)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a full-time workload across EMT and Paramedicine courses (classroom, clinical, lab, simulation)
• Prepare syllabi and curricula to meet program outcomes
• Teach in traditional, hybrid, and/or online environments
• Serve as academic advisor and maintain office hours
• Participate in governance and program assessment activities
• Maintain safety during skills training and evaluations
• Utilize technology to enhance learning and communication
• Engage in professional development to maintain expertise
• Complete required paperwork for program and accreditation
