Qualifications

• Current, active MA and/or NREMT Paramedic certification without restriction/in good standing.
• You must obtain Massachusetts paramedic license within 30 days of hire if you only hold NREMT certification.
• A minimum of two (2) years of Paramedic EMS experience within the last ten years.
• Any associate degree (from an accredited college or university) or equivalent experience and plan to complete an associate degree within 3 years of hire.
• Current AHA, BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current AHA BLS Instructor credential if teaching EMTs.

Responsibilities

• Teach EMT and Paramedicine programs across classroom, lab, and simulation settings.
• Prepare syllabi and develop curricula addressing course outcomes.
• Teach effectively in traditional or hybrid environments.
• Advise students as needed and participate in meetings.
• Support program assessment and accreditation efforts.
• Maintain safety during skills training and ensure proper documentation.
