Faculty members are responsible for developing educational and evaluation materials consistent with the philosophy and framework of the program, MassBay Community College, and, as applicable, accreditation, licensure, and specialty requirements, in accordance with the MA Office of Emergency Medical Services and CoAEMSP. The faculty member is responsible for maintaining a current OEMS or NREMT license/certification and expertise in emergency medical services.
Come join our CAAHEP-accredited Paramedicine Program. MassBay CommunityCollege seeks a qualified full-time faculty member to educate the nextgeneration of Emergency Medical Services professionals. This faculty member will demonstrate a passion for teaching and promoting success among a diverse student population. Faculty teach courses in the classroom, skills lab, and simulation laboratory in both the EMT and Paramedicine Programs. Online teaching may be part of this role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using electronic learning platforms to facilitate student learning and work as part of a team, a passion for collaborative work with diverse faculty, staff, and students, and the ability to positively influence, mentor, and work with a diverse student population in the Emergency Medical Services program.
This position requires a regular evening schedule, with work hours from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Salary Range: $76,000 - $82,000, in accordance with one'seducation and experience, as dictated by the collective bargaining agreementclassification compensation structure.
Additionalcompensation is available by teaching day EMT and/or Paramedic credit-basedcourses and by working as an hourly EMS Learning Specialist in the day for$49.32/hour up to 18 hours per week.
