Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. Faculty members are responsible for developing educational and evaluation materials consistent with the philosophy and framework of the program, MassBay Community College, and, as applicable, accreditation, licensure, and specialty requirements, in accordance with the MA Office of Emergency Medical Services and CoAEMSP. The faculty member is responsible for maintaining a current OEMS or NREMT license/certification and expertise in emergency medical services.
Come join our CAAHEP-accredited Paramedicine Program. MassBay Community College seeks a qualified full-time faculty member to educate the next generation of Emergency Medical Services professionals. This faculty member will demonstrate a passion for teaching and promoting success among a diverse student population. Faculty teach courses in the classroom, skills lab, and simulation laboratory in both the EMT and Paramedicine Programs. Online teaching may be part of this role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using electronic learning platforms to facilitate student learning and work as part of a team, a passion for collaborative work with diverse faculty, staff, and students, and the ability to positively influence, mentor, and work with a diverse student population in the Emergency Medical Services program.

Salary Range: $76,000 - $82,000, in accordance with one's education and experience, as dictated by the collective bargaining agreement classification compensation structure.

Additional compensation is available by teaching day EMT and/or Paramedic credit-based courses and by working as an hourly EMS Learning Specialist in the day for $49.32/hour up to 18 hours per week.
