Job summary

Con Edison is seeking a candidate to maintain the Energy Management System (EMS) and adjacent critical OT systems. You will support, troubleshoot, integrate testing, configure power system modeling, and update databases and displays to ensure reliable grid operations.

You will follow standards, develop guidelines, and promote cybersecurity compliance with regulatory requirements while collaborating with multiple teams to resolve telemetry issues and keep critical infrastructure secure.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in OT critical systems support and maintenance.
• Knowledge of RTU and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in programming, relational databases, and scripting in LINUX.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EMS database and displays; support data historian and generation dispatch.
• Lead updates to power system modeling, state estimator, contingency, and power flow analyses for real-time ops.
• Test and implement vendor-provided enhancements; manage CI/CD for EMS projects.
• Maintain communication with control centers and remote devices; troubleshoot telemetry issues.
