Job summary

Eversource Energy seeks an experienced engineer to maintain Energy Management System (EMS) applications including SE, RTCA, Loadflow and DTS software. You will support major transmission projects, provide technical analysis, and help ensure reliability of the electric system.

The role involves coordinating with ISO-NE and other control centers, planning research, and delivering reports. Travel to MA/CT/NH may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power Systems or related field.
• MS degree or MBA preferred.
• At least three years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains EMS/DTS software for system adequacy evaluations and reliability analyses.
• Develops processes to monitor telemetry vs EMS data accuracy.
• Trains Transmission System Operators in EMS applications.
• Supports design, construction and testing of transmission systems and related equipment.
