Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum six years of related grid EMS/DMS experience.
• Extensive experience with GE Grid EMS/DMS.
• In-depth knowledge of NERC CIP cyber security standards.
• Broad experience with Electric Transmission systems and NERC transmission reliability standards.
• Proficient with real-time computer systems and programming (C++, FORTRAN, PERL).
• PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in Electric Transmission Systems and EMS/DMS systems.
• Lead complex engineering projects while coordinating with stakeholders.
• Provide engineering/technical guidance in EMS-related analysis and resolution.
• Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, calculations and sketches.
• Maintain knowledge of EMS advanced software applications.
• Develop positive working relationships to coordinate work activities.
