Job summary

WLRC in Windsor Mill, MD is seeking an Operations Scheduling Specialist to develop and administer staffing for Maryland field personnel, including Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, and EVOs. You will manage rotations, vacations, and shift trades to ensure coverage and operational readiness.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of scheduling experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Traumasoft and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in employee scheduling, workforce coordination, dispatch operations, healthcare staffing, or a related operational role.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, email systems, and workforce management software.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain staffing schedules that balance operational needs and employee availability.
• Develop and maintain rotational schedules for full-time employees.
• Manage availability from part-time and PRN personnel to maximize coverage.
• Prioritize critical shifts and approve time-off requests within policy.
• Maintain schedules at least four weeks in advance for stability.
• Coordinate shift trades and staffing for same-day needs.
• Communicate scheduling updates to employees and leadership.
