Job summary

LifeStar Response is seeking a Lead EMS Operations Supervisor to guide our field operations in Annapolis Junction, MD. This hands-on leadership role focuses on keeping daily operations running smoothly while coaching staff and solving scheduling issues.

You will monitor attendance, coordinate fleet logistics, review reports, and work with HR to address employee concerns. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle employee issues professionally and objectively.
• Experience in EMS, transportation, healthcare, logistics, or a similar operational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track attendance, punctuality, call-offs, and timekeeping issues.
• Address employee concerns such as lateness, dress code, professionalism, and performance.
• Providing coaching and participating in corrective action.
• Troubleshooting scheduling and staffing issues.
• Generating and reviewing operational reports.
• Conducting fact-finding and employee investigations.
• Maintaining uniform inventory and coordinating orders.
• Managing truck and vehicle logistics between bases.
• Monitoring Samsara activity and providing driver coaching.
• Working closely with Operations and HR to resolve employee and operational concerns.
• Supporting supervisors and employees with day-to-day operational needs.
• Identifying recurring issues and helping develop solutions.
