Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in scheduling, dispatch, administrative, staffing, or operations is preferred.
• EMS/ambulance healthcare or 24/7 operational environment experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, scheduling software, and electronic communication systems.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and publish employee schedules for EMTs, paramedics, field training officers, supervisors, and other personnel.
• Ensure shifts and units have appropriate staffing based on operational requirements.
• Monitor staffing levels; identify shortages, overtime needs, and conflicts.
• Coordinate shift trades, time-off requests, and scheduling changes per policy.
• Maintain scheduling records and communicate changes to affected employees.
• Assist with onboarding and scheduling of new hires; participate in operations meetings.
