Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an EMS Scheduler to coordinate staff shifts, calendars, and operational logistics for pre-hospital or educational medical services in Washington. The role involves managing 24/7 schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with WA DOH guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (associate or bachelor’s preferred) and 1–3 years in administrative scheduling, with strong communication and conflict-resolution skills and familiarity

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is often preferred.
  • 1–3 years of administrative, scheduling, or supervisory experience in healthcare or emergency settings.
  • Proficiency with electronic scheduling systems/databases; strong communication and conflict-resolution skills; familiarity with WA labor rules.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain 24/7 or rotational staff schedules and calendars.
  • Coordinate field crew calendars and leave/overtime coverage.
  • Support EMS program chairs/directors with workflows, meetings, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate staff, rooms, and equipment for training labs, shifts, or emergency readiness.
  • Monitor certification renewals, training records, and WA DOH guidelines compliance.
