Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks an EMS Operations Supervisor in Washington, DC to oversee field personnel and ensure compassionate, high-quality care. The role includes directing day-to-day operations, coordinating during disasters, and supporting crews to achieve optimal performance.

Qualifications include EMS field experience and supervisory or instructor background; a high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • EMS field experience is required.
  • Field training officer, instructor, or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in business/healthcare or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information on accidents/incidents and report findings to management for investigation.
  • Coordinate operations during disasters or major events.
  • Document customer issues and work with team to resolve for customer satisfaction.
  • Assist field personnel (CCTs, Paramedics, EMTs) with resources after critical incidents.
  • Schedule crews and ensure street readiness at start of shifts.
  • Function as a crew EMT as required and provide support to field personnel to maximize performance.
  • Provide daily direction and set clear expectations for field staff.
  • Participate in orientation of new employees and ensure policy adherence.
  • Interact with service providers to manage AMR image and service delivery.
