Job summary

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center seeks an EMS Project Manager to oversee grant-funded and contract-based initiatives that advance EMS and community-based healthcare services in Vermont.

The role emphasizes planning, coordination, and evaluation across clinical, operational, educational, and support teams, with a focus on MIH program development and workforce readiness. This is a hybrid, benefits-eligible position with multi-year funding.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of field experience as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic.
• Formal project management training or certification strongly preferred.
• Previous project management and supervisory experience in healthcare, EMS, public health, or community services.
• Experience serving as an instructor, educator, or trainer strongly preferred.
• National Registry EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification, or State-issued equivalent certification/license required. Paramedic level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate multiple projects to advance EMS and community-based healthcare services.
• Collaborate with leaders across clinical, operational, educational, and support departments to achieve objectives.
• Support statewide MIH program development and workforce readiness initiatives.
• Design, implement, and sustain workforce education and training frameworks for MIH programs.
