Job summary

University of Vermont Health Network's UVMMC in South Burlington seeks an EMS Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and evaluation of multiple EMS and community-based health initiatives. This is a hybrid, grant-funded, benefits-eligible position with a duration of three years.

The EMS Project Manager will work with leaders across clinical, operational, educational, and support departments to ensure timely deliverables, coordinate resources, and support continuous process

Qualifications

• National Registry EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification, or State-issued equivalent certification/license required.
• Paramedic level certification strongly preferred.
• Vermont EMS Instructor/Coordinator credential or New York Certified Instructor Coordinator credential strongly preferred.
• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years of field experience as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic required.
• Formal project management training or certification strongly preferred.
• Previous project management and supervisory experience in a healthcare, EMS, public health, or community services organization.
• Experience serving as an instructor, educator, or trainer strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• This position oversees project management activities for grant-funded, contract-based, and organizational initiatives.
• This role is responsible for planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of multiple projects.
• This position supports statewide MIH program development, workforce readiness initiatives, and EMS education efforts.
