Job summary

UVM Health EMS Training Center is seeking an EMS Project Manager to lead grant-funded, cross-disciplinary projects statewide. The role emphasizes planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating EMS and community-based healthcare initiatives in partnership with clinical, operational, educational, and support teams.

The ideal candidate holds EMT/Paramedic certification (NR, AEMT, or Paramedic) with 2+ years field experience and has formal project management exposure.

Qualifications

• Two years of field experience as EMT/AEMT/Paramedic required.
• National Registry EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification required; Paramedic preferred.
• Formal project management training or certification preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, EMS, public health, or community services supervisory roles preferred.
• Instructor/educator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination for grant-funded and contract initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders across clinical, operational, educational, and support departments.
• Support curriculum development and training program implementation.
• Evaluate program outcomes to drive improvements and scalability.
• Collaborate with MIH and statewide EMS teams to advance workforce initiatives.
