Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Field Supervisor in our Operations department to oversee day-to-day EMS field operations, staffing and scheduling, ensure equipment and supply readiness, manage internal communications, and coordinate with public safety agencies.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires at least 3 years of EMS field experience, EMT or Paramedic certification, a valid state driver's license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS or similar certificates.

Qualifications

• Must have EMS field leadership experience and ability to supervise field staff.
• Certifications required include EMT or Paramedic and basic life support credentials.
• State driver's license with acceptable driving record per safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop field staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain operational quality through daily oversight and communication.
• Act as a liaison among the company, patients, and public safety agencies.
• Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, and support team development.
• Collaborate with management to address staffing and service improvement.
• Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Manage staffing levels, shift calendars, and fill open shifts as needed.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of medical equipment.
