Job summary

Northwest Ambulance is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead EMS field operations in a high-volume interfacility transport and 911 system in Washington. You will own a set of NW units, supervise crews, ensure safety, compliance, and performance.

This role requires EMT or Paramedic certification, at least three years in EMS, leadership experience, and a valid driver's license. You will coach staff, monitor KPI, and coordinate rapid problem solving across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or Paramedic certification in good standing (Washington State).
• Minimum of three (3) years of field EMS experience in a 911 and/or IFT environment.
• Leadership experience in healthcare, Fire/EMS, Military, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple units and competing priorities in real time.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all crew members on your owned NW units during your shift.
• Provide real-time support to crews on high-acuity or extended calls.
• Monitor CAD and unit status; ensure adherence to protocols.
• Complete annual performance reviews for assigned personnel.
• Address safety concerns and coaching as issues arise.
