Job summary

Nwamb is seeking a Field Supervisor (FS) to lead real-time EMS operations within a high-volume interfacility transport and 911 system. You will own NW units, supervise crews, and ensure safety, protocol compliance, and accurate documentation during your shift.

You will mentor staff, resolve conflicts, monitor KPI performance, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with dispatch and operations leadership on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or Paramedic certification in good standing (Washington State).
• Minimum of three (3) years of field EMS experience in a 911 and/or IFT environment.
• Experience in high-volume IFT or mixed EMS systems, including private ambulance transport.
• Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience in healthcare, Fire/EMS service, Military, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated clean compliance history with no major disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple units and competing priorities simultaneously in real time.
• Associate degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all crew members assigned to your owned NW units during your shift.
• Provide real-time support to crews on high-acuity, complex, or extended calls.
• Address crew fatigue, safety concerns, and professional conduct issues as they arise.
• Deliver verbal counseling and document all performance issues in accordance with policy.
• Conduct field observations and report findings to the zone Operations Supervisor.
• Complete annual performance reviews for all crew members on your assigned units.
