Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks an Operations Supervisor in Las Vegas, NM to oversee day-to-day EMS operations and staff, coordinate resources, and maintain high levels of patient care. The role requires EMT/Paramedic certification, strong leadership, and experience in field operations.

The supervisor will liaise with patients, public safety agencies, and hospital partners, while ensuring adherence to policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years EMS field experience.
• Prior FTO or leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to function as an EMT/Paramedic and perform direct patient-care activities in the field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and develop field staff to provide patient care.
• Maintain quality field operations through oversight, communication, and evaluation.
• Act as a liaison between patients, public safety agencies, training institutions, hospital representatives, and staff.
• Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate development to drive results.
• Collaborate with management to minimize problems and improve service.
• Develop and implement EMS department policies and procedures.
• Maintain staffing levels, shift calendars, and cover open shifts.
• Oversee operation, utilization, and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Review PCRs for accuracy and timely reconciliation.
• Investigate incidents and resolve issues.
