Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid NYS driver license.
• Must have NYS EMT-B certification with EMT experience.
• Experience supervising EMS personnel is desirable.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assign vehicles and equipment per the ePro schedule.
• Be available for all outgoing and incoming crews during the shift.
• Distribute equipment to crews and obtain sign-off on receipt.
• Collect equipment from crews and obtain sign-off on return.
• Plug in rechargeable equipment and prep for redistribution.
• Perform daily equipment inventory and manage OOS tagging for testing/repair.
• Advise management on OOS equipment.
• Issue warnings for policy non-compliance.
• Update the ePro daily schedule worksheet.
• Perform daily supply inventory and restock as needed.
• Ensure parking and securing of vehicles; fuel ambulances.
• Perform NYS Part 800 check on ambulances.
• Seal equipment cabinets in ambulances.
• Operate phones and company software; interact professionally with clients.
