Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Supervisory/Crew Chief in Corning, NY. The role leads field crews, coordinates with management and external agencies, and ensures operational readiness with staffing, equipment, and supplies.

You will act as a liaison among patients, safety agencies, hospitals, and internal teams. The position requires NYS EMT or Paramedic certification, CPR/ACLS/PHLTS, and a minimum of three years EMS experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current NYS EMT or Paramedic certification required.
• CPR, PHLTS and ACLS certification (or equivalent) required where applicable.
• Some advanced education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and evaluates field employees in assigned area.
• Liaises with patients, public safety, hospitals and other users.
• Ensure staffing levels and equipment readiness for field units.
• Maintain and reconcile field paperwork including PCRs daily.
• Support incident investigations and staff counseling as needed.
• Assist with scheduling, communications and policy enforcement.
• Prepare reports and manage projects as assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with laws and company policies.
