Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. seeks an accomplished Engineering Manager in Albuquerque to lead the EMS product, process and test engineering teams. You will drive NPI, DFx, cost reductions, and cross‑functional collaboration with aerospace, military and industrial accounts.

You will oversee budgets, capital planning, and governance of BOM/ECN, while mentoring leaders and aligning the engineering roadmap with corporate strategy and customer needs in the Southwest region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) / production environments.
• 5+ years in formal Project Management.
• 3+ years in People Leadership / Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Operations: Product, Process, and Test Engineering teams; manage budgets and cross-functional prioritization.
• Direct NPI & lifecycle management including rapid prototyping and product transfers; oversee DFx reviews.
• Drive quality, compliance (RoHS, Conflict Minerals) and continuous improvement across the site.
• Act as technical and executive liaison for aerospace/military/industrial accounts and strategic growth initiatives.
