Job summary

Advocate Health's EMS Educator role at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital – EMS Resource Center seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate EMS system education. The position is part-time, offering 12 hours per week and varied schedules, aimed at improving EMS and hospital education and outreach across the system.

Qualified candidates will hold an IL RN license with BSN preferred, CPR/ACLS, ECRN, TNCC, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement for BSN enrollment within four years.
• Minimum 2-3 years emergency nursing experience desired.
• Current AHA CPR and ACLS, ECRN and TNCC.
• Must be self-directed with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Quality Assurance Programs/CQI.
• Assists with developing, conducting, and supervising education for pre-hospital and hospital personnel.
• Supports Hospital EMS/Trauma initiatives, outreach and operations.
