Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is seeking an EMS Educator I to implement EMS courses, coordinate classrooms and labs, and supervise instructors. You will manage communications with hospital EMS staff and external providers, ensuring compliance and curriculum updates across sessions.

The role requires a IL-licensed RN or an EMT-P with National Registry, plus BLS. Teaching and coordination experience are essential, with a focus on EMS education and performance

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing license issued by the State of Illinois OR Current EMT P license without restrictions (National Registry Preferred).
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates EMS course to include classroom and lab instruction and schedules instructors.
• Coordinates communications between hospital resources and EMS providers for the course.
• Monitors evaluations and reports findings to EMS Administrator/System Coordinator.
• Updates preceptors with curriculum and guidelines and attends related meetings.
• Acts as a liaison between EMS providers and EMS Office for the course.
