Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an EMS Educator to support orientation, continuing education, and assessment of clinical staff. The role collaborates with managers to identify learning needs and develops curricula for clinical competencies and organizational policies.

The position serves as a consultant/mentor for staff development and participates in new staff orientation and education initiatives, reinforcing NM’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of critical care experience and one year of teaching experience.
• Two years in course coordination.
• CPR-BLS, CPR-PALS, CPR-ACLS training.
• IDPH Lead Instructor within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums for clinical competencies and policies.
• Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in program development and professional growth.
• Participates in development, coordination, and delivery of new staff orientation and education activities.
